Marina Fender

• Correct spacing and alignment are critical for effective protection

Spacing depends on boat size and usage:

• Typically no more than 1–1.5 metres apart
• High-traffic or commercial docks may require tighter spacing

The goal is continuous protection—no gaps where hull contact can occur.

• MF Series (Marina Fender): Flat-backed design for mounting directly onto docks or vertical surfaces. Ideal for standard marina berths and pontoon edges.
• MBF Series (Marina Bow Fender): Rounded profile designed to protect bow sections or exposed corners where impact angles vary.

In simple terms:
MF = straight edges
MBF = corners and bow contact points

Sizing depends on:

• Vessel size and displacement
• Berth type (private pontoon vs commercial marina)
• Exposure (calm marina vs tidal/current conditions)

As a rule of thumb:

• Small leisure boats (up to ~8m): MF44 dock fender
• Mid-size boats (8–12m): Medium MF60 dock fender or MBF
• Commercial / high traffic: Larger, heavy-duty units – MBF150 dock fender
