Non-inflatable, solid mooring buoys MR30,
MR40 and MG40 are manufactured from “BACELL™”,
a foam material with 100% closed cells. Fitted with
hot dipped galvanized mooring rod and swivel. Standard
colour MR30, MR40, MG40: Yellow.
The MB series Polyform ™ Mooring
buoys are roto-molded from Polyethylene (PE) and filled
with a Polystyrene foam (EPS). The MB series mooring
buoys are widely used for a range or moorings but also
for marking fishing gear, fish farms, cables and pipelines.
MR30, MR40 mooring buoys (with short iron
rods) and MG40 mooring buoys (with long iron rod) are
manufactured from BACELL™, Provinor's special foam
material with 100% closed cells. The material is an
in-house composition, consisting of environmentally
friendly EVA. The closed-cell structure prevents any
water from entering into the material and makes these
buoys totally puncture proof. MR- and MG-series Polyform
mooring buoys are fitted with a hot dipped galvanized
mooring rod and swivel.
CCD / CCE Series
POLYFORM CC-type mooring buoys are supplied
assembled with either short mooring rods (CCE-) or long
mooring rods (CCD-). The rods include a swivel at the
lower end and all rods are hot dipped galvanized. Upper
part and the grip ring on top of the iron are coated
with a dark blue plastic material.
The POLYFORM ™ CC Series are heavy
duty mooring buoys, ready assembled with either a short
iron or long iron rod and swivel.
Polyform mooring buoys are made for surface use only!
(Only the swivel, below water, shall be used for mooring.
The upper grip-ring is not made for mooring).
IMPORTANT: Please observe
that stainless-steel parts, like swivel devices, hooks
or chain should never be mixed with the hot dipped galvanized
material of the mooring rods. Use hot dipped galvanized
parts / chain or rope only. The mooring, especially
the under-water parts have to be inspected for wear
and tear twice a year!
